Group Visits & Travel Operators
From its beginnings as a “modest Festival, with a few concerts given by friends”, Aldeburgh Music has managed to retain, and in fact is proud of still having that personal feeling, which makes us different from any other music event you would know.
We are very keen to preserve this relaxed atmosphere and offer groups an unforgettable experience, and it does reflect from how we do things.
For starters, we don’t operate like a tourism giant – we want you to pick and mix your very own, personal experience, suited to the interests of your group. Typically, this would combine:
Tickets for the concerts you would like to attend, offering group discounts;
A tailored, behind-the-scenes experience where you can explore world-famous Snape Maltings Concert Hall or find out more about the music, and Britten and Aldeburgh, with a personal host welcoming and supporting you;
Where possible, rehearsal access and opportunities to meet some of the artists.
In addition, we can offer:
A selection of creative activities in Suffolk, ranging from guided bird-walks to visiting outstanding heritage attractions – very often combining that exclusive experience and attractive discounts…
And we can help with:
Transportation from airports, railway station, or the nearest ferry port, Harwich;
Arrangements for those with disabilities;
And of course, finding the right accommodation from our list of local partners, whether a typical B&B, hotel, or self-catering accommodation.
In short, there isn’t anything we would not try and arrange for you, or find someone who could!
