Aldeburgh Festival 2013 - Additional performances and programme changes

Aldeburgh Music’s year-long Britten Centenary programme is attracting enormous worldwide interest. We have experienced unprecedented demand for tickets to this year’s Festival and many events sold out very quickly. We know that many people were disappointed not to be able to buy tickets for key events and we are therefore delighted to let you know that in some cases we have been able to arrange additional performances:

The Church Parables: additional performances on 20 and 21 June
Britten on Film I: additional screening on 13 June
Britten on Film II: additional performance on 20 June
Cabaret Songs: two additional performances on 22 June

We have also increased the capacity of our Grimes on the Beach performances and have put another 400 tickets on sale each night.

Meanwhile the Monteverdi Choir & Orchestra concert on 14 June has had a significant change to the advertised programme.

When can I book for these additional events and tickets?

The new performances of the Cabaret Songs and the extra tickets for Grimes on the Beach are now on sale and available to all.
